• My name is Naomi-Leah. I live in Denver and enjoy exploring the city and writing about what I see. I meet people from all over the United States and other countries who look forward to their visit to our mile-high city when they take vacations. Sometimes, it’s embarrassing that they know more about the city and its history than I do! So, the purpose of this blog is to share what Denver is to me while I spend more time exploring my own “backyard” instead of traveling to other cities.
• There is never enough time to do all the things I enjoy in life, which includes gardening, reading, digital photography, exploring the internet on my Mac Pro computer, listening to music, seafood, chocolate, and ice cream.
• My Denver home is occupied by my husband, 2 dogs, and a cat. Since I have turned our front yard and backyard into gardens, our home is frequently visited by wild birds, squirrels, bees, wasps, and the neighborhood stray cats. Denver is a great place for gardening, but being water-conscious is a must because of the arid climate.
